About the dice roller
Lost your dice? This roller covers the full polyhedral set — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 — so it works for classic board games and tabletop role-playing alike. Roll up to a dozen dice at once and see each result plus the total. It uses the Web Crypto API for a fair, unbiased roll and runs entirely in your browser, no download required.
How to use Dice Roller — Roll d4 to d100
- 1Choose d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, or d100.
- 2Set the number of dice from 1 to 12, then roll.
- 3Read every die result and, for multiple dice, the total.
Frequently asked questions
- Which dice are available?
- The tool supports seven common polyhedral sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, and 100 sides. It does not accept a custom side count or modifiers.
- How are die results generated?
- Each die uses a Web Crypto byte with rejection sampling, which removes modulo bias for the supported side counts.
- What does the total include?
- It is the arithmetic sum of the dice shown in the current roll. No bonuses, penalties, rerolls, advantage, or keep-highest rule is applied.
- Are previous rolls stored?
- No. A new roll replaces the visible result and reloading clears it.
