About flashcards
Flashcards support active recall: try to remember the answer before flipping the card. Build decks, shuffle them, and mark cards known or for review during the current study session. Your decks are stored locally in this browser; review choices are not scheduled or retained as spaced-repetition intervals.
How to use Flashcards
- 1Create a deck, then add cards with a front and back.
- 2Start study mode to shuffle the deck, select a card to reveal its back, then mark it Known or Review.
- 3Review the known-card count at the end and restart the shuffled session when needed.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this use spaced repetition?
- No. Study mode shuffles every card and records Known choices only for the current session. It does not schedule cards by date or remember a review interval.
- What happens when I mark a card Review?
- The session advances to the next card without adding the current one to the known count. It does not automatically place that card back into the same session.
- Where are decks and cards stored?
- They are stored in this browser’s localStorage. Deleting site data or using another browser removes access to that local collection.
- Can I import or export a deck?
- No. The current interface creates, edits, studies, and deletes cards locally, with no file import, export, or account sync.
